DrupalCampParis2: April 19th, 2008

DrupalCampParis2 is coming up soon: April 19th, 2008.

I’ll probably be presenting a few talks there, and I’m particularly thinking about seizing the opportunity to attract more French speaking Belgians to drupal.be, of which about 99.5% of the content is in Dutch at the moment.

Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated, as are topic proposals. So much to tell, so little time.

Oh, almost forgot: sessions will in English and in French

State clearly on the drupal.be website that it's also for french speaking people. I just registered on the site, and it only allows for engels and neederlands traducties, need to add frans ;-)

I'm comited to be active on the site if I can also use french on it. Altough, I intend to go to drupal.be to enhance my dutch as well

Ok. will do.

Thanks.
Joeri

The current drupal.be website is not really intended for both dutch and french speaking people. The forums are only in dutch, and i do not think that people expect french forum topics to mix with dutch ones. (btw, the majority of the visitors are from Holland)

There is currently a plan to redesign drupal.be (see http://drupal.be/node/1045 and http://drupal.be/node/1104), and Roel De Meester did a call for french speaking participants on Fosdem (only 1 person answered it).
If french speaking belgians participate in this redesign, we might be able to do a setup where both dutch, belgian (dutch speaking) and belgian (french speaking) people can be accomodated.
That would be great ! So please participate in the discussion on drupal.be.
